One of the American League's eight charter teams, the Milwaukee Brewers' illustrious history began in 1901, but the team moved around to several different cities until finally making Milwaukee their home city in 1968. The Brewers name was chosen due to Milwaukee's famous brewing industry, and a picture of a barley on the logo is representative of this fact. The Milwaukee Brewers have a long-standing history in Major League Baseball, being host to an amazing list of outstanding athletes such as Hall of Famers Hank Aaron, Rollie Fingers, Paul Molitor, Robin Yount and Don Sutton. The team currently plays at Miller Park stadium and have played there since 2001. Their overall franchise accomplishments include one World Series appearance, one American League pennant, one LCS appearance and two division championships.
